What is a Life Coach?

Life coaching can make the life of your dreams a reality!

We’re all familiar with the term “coach”. Professional athletes and teams would not be where they are without their coach. Many corporate executives, CEOs and entrepreneurs employ the services of business coaches to help them elevate their success.

But there is another less familiar type of coach… LIFE COACH.

What is a life coach?

A life coach is a professional who is trained to help you realize your fullest potential and become the best version of yourself! Life coaching is a partnership between client and coach in which, together, you will first analyze the roots of your desires, identify the challenges you face, and then through a thought-provoking process, you will define your vision and come up with an action-plan that will ensure your personal success.

How does it work?

Your coach will act as a mirror to increase your self-awareness and a non-biased sounding board to help you address the problems and obstacles you face. Through provoking questions and appreciative inquiry, your coach will help you to dig deeper for the best solutions and actionable steps to reaching your goal and offer feedback and reflection based upon your story and input.

Life coaching is a now and future minded practice. And, while it is sometimes necessary to visit the past in order to resolve any residual limiting beliefs, unravel the present and create healthy steps towards the future, it is not therapy. The goal of life coaching is to stay in a forward moving momentum. A coach will not tell you what to do or diagnose, as this is out of the ethical scope of practice.

  • Improve self awareness and self development

  • Improve communication

  • Improve relationships
